🚓 City Centre Vehicle Crime Offender Charged Following Investigation

Good afternoon,

Following an extensive investigation into two theft from motor vehicle offences and a burglary within the city centre, a 31-year-old male has been charged with the following:

The offender has an extensive history of similar offences and is currently remanded in custody awaiting sentencing.

In the meantime, work is underway with partner agencies to pursue a Civil Order aimed at preventing the individual from entering the city centre in order to reduce further offending.

This arrest is directly linked to Operation FALIRO, an initiative focused on reducing vehicle crime across the city centre through targeted enforcement and hotspot policing.
